Brunswick St.

The wall on the South-eastern corner of Brunswick and Westgarth Streets Fitzroy has been an unsightly location for billposters for a number of years. The UFU wall project, created a lasting public artwork in contemporary street-art style.

The theme and colour scheme for the mural was inspired by the building’s current use as the national headquarters for the United Firefighters Union Australia. The colours of the Union’s flag are violet, red and yellow.

The Napier Crew started this in June and Finished it in August. We had this wall and the Faces wall at the same time.
