The north mural was intended to capture the festive spirit across Melbourne whilst transcending into a timeless piece that would serve as a reminder of vibrancy to its community. The mural was an intentional collaboration between the locals in the community and artists Adrian Doyle, Matt Hannah and Supansa Nicky based at Blender Studios. It incorporates the Christmas beetle to capture the essence of Australian tradition whilst also imbedding elements of radiance seen in the protea and waratah flower. This artwork serves as a visual reminder to the local community of the transformative features a mural can do in the streets.
